Gregg had no idea that U2 (or anyone else) had written a song with the same title. This is the 3rd track from his first CD, 'Romanticide' (2004 Gordon/Talleysman label). The story behind all this (in Gregg's words) and more great songs are on his My Space site:

Lyrics:
Miss Sarajevo -
She likes motorcycle rides in the country.
She's in a contest wih no prize,
And bathing suits don't hide,
The shrapnel wounds,
Not very long ago...
Beneath the torches'glow,
you were just ten years old.
We were playing in the snow,
And the whole world was told,
'You won't want to miss Sarajevo.'
In the heat of the lights,
They asked you your future plans,
As the bombs burst, and mixed lovers lay
In No Man's Land.
Well, plans you sure don't need,
You've fulfilled your destiny.
The Mona Lisas always outlast the Medicis.
Miss Sarajevo...
You look so fine to me,
I'll sure wager,
If you could only flee,
Nobody would complain.
No one would say,
'Go back to where you came',
Miss Sarajevo -
In the heat of the lights,
They asked you your future plans,
As the bombs burst, and mixed lovers lay
In No Man's Land.
Well, plans you sure don't need,
You've fulfilled your destiny.
The Mona Lisas always outlast the Medicis.
Miss Sarajevo...
She likes motorcycle rides in the country.
She's in a contest with no prize,
And bathing suits don't hide
The shrapnel wounds,
Miss Sarajevo.

1:57 the "gear" art, are there text messages in that piece. Nice rework emotive and reflective of the intelligent lyrics, good balance of monochrome and vibrant color

@0marigolds Thanks! The name of the 'gears' piece is 'Rx (Are You Really a Doctor?) #903. I did a black & white collage for this video. I've loved this song ever since I first heard it in 1992. (Might be 1993, I can't remember the exact date.)
BTW I love your new videos - I wish you would do one for Gregg... Have you seen his latest one? Antonis directed 'Shadows on the Walls of the Cave' - it just came out.
