So a little background first: This came from a joke between Lindsay, Adam, and myself the night of Mike's birthday party. I'm sure now I've taken it too far. Adam joked about how a hollywood studio bought his script and made it into a movie. Then he showed me the add for "How she move". From then on I started joking about how I wanted to break into Hollywood by convincing Universal studios to allow me to write and direct the fifth sequel to "Bring It On". Now we have this trailer.
About the trailer: I had to edit it in quicktime so it's not my best work. I've got a new mac and the only software I have is "imovie" and quick time pro. I'm not very pleased with imovie. So most of this (aside from music) was done with quick time. Some of the shots move to quickly and the title cards are no where near as nice as I wanted them to be, but since this is suppose to be a joke I guess that's fine.
Now for the plot the fake bring it on: The film takes place at two separate times. It first follows the young Jessica Alba character who is a cheerleader in high school and is dating Justin Shipman (who was the younger brother of the main character from the first film). She gets pregnant and brings shame to the cheerleading squad-which is banned after the scandal rocks the school.
Years later Alba's character is living a happy life with Justin and their child when the two of them are killed in a car crash leaving her all alone. To get her life back on track she goes back to her high school and gets them to bring back the cheerleading program with her as the coach. While there she learns to love & live again.
Really I came up with the whole idea in one night: it just proves how easy it is to do a hollywood movie if you follow the formulas.
Now lets write to Universal studios to help me get this movie made!!!
