This is a short video featuring Roger Gracie's first black belt, Nicolas Gregoriades, explaining the head and eye movement concept in brazilian jiu-jitsu.   • your partner's head should either be on the outside or his legs should be switched to do the double correctly. just a tip to improve his takedowns

  • the crossface has nothing to do with direction of gaze its purely misalignment of the opponents spine via the head manipulation.Even the upa seems to be purely head motion rather than eyes.Rickson says to side flex the neck away from the bridging direction and look at the ground as you lift the hips.Nice concise concept videos though
