Yes, the fact that her face at :13 , :36 and elsewhere looks like a flat matte painting to me makes me an idiot.

I never said it wasn't amazing, but it still doesn't look right.

The diffuse is off, sure, but that isn't what they specialize in. They specialize in animation and they do an amazing job if not perfect. I couldn't tell. the only thing I noticed was the diffuse is off, no big deal. I'm sure that is what you noticed too, like she had too much make-up on? The specular is what coaght my attention, I would love to know more about how they did that, and I would love to see those curves.

Yes, the diffuse would be part of it. She also looks like she has braces or something wrong with her teeth. The mapping of words to mouth etc if great, but the face just isn't right.
