A little video of a wood stove that I got off of Craigslist the other day. It is a "Raemco 7 in 1" stove. Weighs about 27lbs. Can be used as a wood stove for heating, as an oven or a smoker or as a charcoal grill. After I took this I took it outside to fire it up a little and love it! Due to the loose top (removeable) it might be a little smokey in a shelter or tent, though not sure.

  • You are so lucky. I have been looking for that exact stove for years. They used to advertise in Fur Fish Game magazine and a few years ago, decided to look for a good tent stove. Remembered the add and dug out some old FFG's and on a whim, called the company. It was in New Jersey if I remember correctly and and someone did answer the phone number but was clueless to the Reamco 7 in 1 stove. It's a PERFECT stove for a basecamp with is versatility.

  • @teharley69 I know! Great stove. Have only used it a few times. Have not used the oven portion yet either! Thanks for watching! Keep an eye out, never know when one will pop up!!

  • how much did something like this cost?

  • @chivone21 Not sure what it went for originally but I lucked out and found it on craigslist for $60.00!!!

  • It's amazing how that stove almost instantly disassembles and assembles.

    Those Japanese imports.

  • @dinnerandashow I think it is from New Jersey.

  • Very Cool...

  • Great THX FIREITUP

  • Cool! Nice Find! Sparked my interest. I'll look into these, maybe try to make one... 27 pounds, and you could stack a brick or rock wall near it and let the thermal mass absorb and slowly release the heat. In a way less heavy to set up than a heavy stove. Copper tube in angle iron (bed frame) frame with Durabond filling Hot water 1 1/2" thick panel (T+P valve of course) next to it... Lots of possibilities!

  • @Dojocho yeah great stoves. But WAY out of my price range.
