@Martinm210 hey martin its johnny87au here, Im using 2x 560 SR1 rads, do you think 16x AP 15's 1850s would be ideal using push/pull ?

@Martinm210 OK then, I decided to buy Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP13's. Are they really silent?
-
@Martinm210 But I mean, are Noctuas more silent than Gentle Tyhpoons? Both at their stock speeds? I'll be using them as case fans.

Hi Martin, I know you did your tests using a rad, but if you had to choose, what would be the best 120mm case fan (best cfm vs. noise ratio)?

@christpunchers
I'm not really sure, but I would look as some other fan reviews for that. There are a couple of other really good fan tests in an open type of condition that would be more appropriate for that. If I recall, some of the noiseblockers were pretty good along with a few others that have more open fan blades and quiet motors. The GTs with their high density blades are really more for pressure applications.

Are those silent at full power?

@Rapagangsta
The definition of silent is all relative to the user, but these are the most silent I have tested at 1800RPM. Still too loud for my taste to run full speed 24/7, but I'm extra picky about noise really don't like anything over 1000RPM regardless. AP-13's would be my choice for full 12V speeds.

@Martinm210 So, I should buy Noctua NF-P12 1300 RPM over these?

@Rapagangsta
No, Noctuas didn't do very well on a radiator in my testing. GTs performed the best for me in the 1000-1800RPM range. Under 1000RPM, many fans do well. I use Yate Loon D12SL12s from Petras for my setup under 1000.
