On January 21st, a devastating ice storm blanketed the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe reservation followed by two days of blinding snow, sending thousands into darkness and sub-zero temperatures. Following the storms, thousands were without power, food, water, medical supplies, or transportation and the President has yet to acknowledge their plight. Please view the video to see what you can do to assist in their recovery and please, pass the word along to others.

(1) Please call your two Senators (Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121)
(2) Ask for the staffer working on the Jobs Bill or their water appropriations staffer
(3) Ask them/Or leave a message asking for $90 million to the Army Corps for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe water infrastructure project
(4) Any additional calls to the United States Department of Agriculture, the Department of Interior, or the White House are also helpful

  • Very little of your donations reached the poor people who needed it. Much of that money was given to politically connected people and rich ranchers. Some ranchers and farmers genuinely needed that money, while those that received nearly ten thousand dollars, quite simply did not. Also many of the tribal council representatives, including the tribal chairman at that time, received thousands of dollars from your donations. And the real killer here is that during that storm, the CRST chairman up

  • @Fractalor Thank you for your donation! I am from there. My family is still there. They say everything is getting a little better. Thank you! Anything helps

  • Thanks to this vid... I sent CRST a money order for $50.00 back in Feb. of this year... I wish it could've been more and I hope it helped- what I did send. Does anyone know how they are doing right about now? Thanks RaznCain!

  • I feel really bad cause I left Eagle Butte right before the ice storm came. I wish I could have been there, I knew it has been incredibly hard for everyone, but for me it was even harder to sit there, 10000 miles away, not being able to provide any immediate help and not to get any information about the people that mean the most to me

  • If you go to our other page at RaznCainLive here on YouTube, there is a link to CNNi Reports to the article we wrote from our interview with Chairman Joseph Brings Plenty. I can't post the link here as it deleted the comment.

  • I'm spreading the word... this link is on my facebook... nice viedo... its amazing things happen like this...and here i am feeling sorry eating food in a warm home with a couple of inches outside and to think i ever felt sorry for myself...

  • This is beautifully done. It's shocking that President Obama is ignoring this crisis.
