One of the greatest songs ever written in Popular Music. It could be about friends helping each other, or God carrying us, when we could not carry ourselves. Whatever the interpretation, Paul Simon wote a "Wonderful Classic". His partner Arthur Garfunkel had an "Angelic voice". Certainly they were "The Everly Brothers", extended to new heights in rock and roll. "Message music" at it's best. Doesn't exist anymore. Too bad.
