@happypants07 Anti-matter is the opposite of matter as we know it. It has negatively charged particles in it's nuclei and positrons circling it, unlike our protons in nuclei being surrounded by electrons. When anti-matter and matter touch, they annihilate one another and release pure energy. Anti-matter is the most destructive thing in the universe, but it can not be produced in large enough amounts for practical use as a weapon.

Such a fool this scientist filmed, and he even smirks as he gets high school physics wrong. Momentum cancelling fantastically high energy collisions such as in this collider have not "been going on for billions of years." Momentum cancelling means the collision results may end up stopped and remain here. Such fools are running this experiment. Clearly only luck is protecting us, not well considered science.

If micro black holes didn't evaporate because of Hawkings Radiation we would have been long gone, sucked into a black hole already. Everyday millions of particles entered earth at carring higher energy levels than those of the Large Hadron Collider, yet not a single micro black whole has survived yet. If the media wasn't so paranoid about those events, maybe we would be 50 years more advance technologically than we are now.
