actually, that word is just really hard to pronounce. If you watch the live broadcast, you can hear them talking about how to pronounce. SHE asked the CEO of Mengniu, a mainland company, and he didn't know it, neither. I had no idea how to pronounce 栎 before knowing Wang Yuexin, neither.

well its mostly becuz S.H.E is from Taiwan, so they're used to "complicated" chinese as to China's "simplified" chinese.
i think its called "fan ti zi" & "jian ti zi"
anyways, S.H.E is the best!!!
