Hi! This is PSNewb from

I have already created a tutorial on how to create some golden text. For some fonts, like the PS3/Spiderman font, I have decided to make this tutorial. This also incorporates on how to make it 3D. There is a full written tutorial below, along with links.
* Create a black background.
* Type your text.
* Double click layer icon.
* Settings should vary depending on what size of text.
* I used, for 48pt text,
http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n4...
* Use colour overlay to get a golden colour.
* Select the move tool.
* Press "Alt + →" 4 or 5 times.
* Then, create a new layer under all the "copys"
* Merge all these down onto the new layer (CTRL + E)
* Add the default outer glow.
* Duplicate this layer.
* Transform it (CTRL + T) so it is upside-down.
* Select the Rectangualr Marquee Tool.
* Use a feather (vary on size of fonts)
* Delet a section of the reflection.
You are finished.
