I am usually seeing him in the building 32 every day and he says "hello" to me and to all other students. But he is very strict about everything and it is a worry if I have an assignment to do but he is also very supportive. I think overall a good comment here is correct. If he was supervisor for my research, I would be certain to finish with good work on time. That is very important for high fees students, so that is another positive comment. Can anyone put more lectures on YouTube please.

ok, bit old style, but magic entertainment even if full of 'heavy' content. Agree about the famous red pen! I liked the questionaire sessions in the research programme. Best lecturer on the course. Go Prof!
Do not know what this video is for but I have audio tapes of his lectures from the MA. I must ask to video his next lecture!!!

yea, good lecturer. but a bit old school. bit snooty about new university subjects etc. I got my essay back with 1000 annotations about punctuation & infinitives etc. Seriously! Come on, it's the 21st century! But in fairness, the most entertaining and best published/researched of them all.

I know this professor. He is the best to lecture students at Southampton and is very helpful to us.
