Acoustic Series Week Ten
The Airborne Toxic Event is an American rock band from the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz that consists of singer and guitarist Mikel Jollett, guitarist and keyboardist Steven Chen, bassist Noah Harmon, drummer Daren Taylor, and violist Anna Bulbrook.
This is part four of a ten-part acoustic series in which each of the ten songs on the upcoming first record is performed acoustically in a different location. All of the videos are done in a single take.
The Airborne Toxic Event debut record will be out August 5th.
The band will be performing on Conan O'Brien on August 1st.

I MUST HAVE BEEN UNDER A ROCK. Bc I just found this group now and I feel like an idiot that I've missed out so much, amazing band, I love every song I've heard thus far! Going to deff support and push others to listen. Peace and love!

Today in class while working on a project my teacher asked me what my favorite band was. I said TATE (course). He played this song as background music and my whole class began complaining asking for justin bieber. My teacher asked me if he could change it. I just smiled and nodded and said “They don’t understand art.”

I saw/met them back in '08 when they released their first album and have seen them several times since then. The thing I think I love most about them (besides their ridiculous talent, obviously) is how down to earth and sweet they are no matter how busy/crazy things are.. they always take time to actually talk to their fans.
