Dec 19-09: We see the first of the 2 remaining PCC in TTC fleet arriving at Lansdowne Ave Loop. This is the first time in 3 years Streetcars and riders have been on this section of St Clair ROW (Right-of Way). The 2 PCC were giving free rides from 11-4pm as a sample of the return of streetcars from St Clair West Subway Station to Lansdowne starting Dec 20 at 5:15am. Lansdowne Loop using the CLRV's. This section of St Clair from Lansdowne to Dufferin St to the east was completed in 2008. The section from Dufferin St to Vaughan Rd was just finish this last month. The west section to Gunns Loop to the west will not be done until the summer of 2010. This new ROW is going back to what was there from 1911-35 and a big mistake to remove it then.

  • If you do not have a tripod and you are outside find a mailbox or a newspaper vending box to rest your camera on while shooting. Remember that zooming in on a subject will exaggerate a shaky image. Best to set the lens on wide and just get as close as you reasonably can.

    Where was this shot?
