  • Gordon Moore never never altered his prediction to be 18 months, although it is true that in 1965 his original prediction was transistors would double ever 12 months, in 1975 he reanalyzed his prediction & amended it to every 24 months so how you heard it was 12 months in the 90's & 18 in early 00's is beyond me ether you live in some backwards state of mind which is seriously behind with the times or the people your talk to are just idiots. Do some research before you make a comment like that

  • In the early 90's, I remember people saying Moore's law with "12 months".

    In the early 00's, it was 18 months.

    Now it's 2 years (24 months).

    It's no longer a law if it has a 100% error rate.
