    i see in one of your previous comments that you use the jim wendler system.

    Can i ask is that all about. what improvement have you achieved using it.

    I m desperate to improve my chins but have plateaued.

  • @deadlift99 I've been able to add (on average) about a pull up a month since I started 5-3-1. But the progress hasn't been that linear--I got my first five really quickly and then I plateaued for a couple months at 12. You should write Harry at elitefts--he'll help you progress with the pullups. Really, he's been a huge help to me--I'm getting better and my shoulders and elbows are healthy. I'm not sure why he gives out pull up program advice for free, but he does. Why not take advantage?

  • great strength, perfect form, one of the best on youtube!...how did u build up to 15 reps?, any certain programs like grease the groove, or skinny bastard routine?

    theres a guy i know that can do 17 (I m stuck around the 12 mark). I d really like to challenge him and need a bit of an edge :-)

  • @chukaai You give me too much credit--it has taken me a year to get these 15 pull-ups. I train generally using Jim Wendler's 5-3-1 program, but Harry Selkow has provided me with more specific program advice for the pull ups.
