@2lovefaith By the way, Israelis are probably occupying (without the " ") a land that is actually ethnically Jew, since it's known that Jews converted to other religions around the world... AND THE PROOF IS HERE IN MY COUNTRY (google "Marranos")! If Portugal is not the original land of the Jews and still 28% of the Portuguese could now be classified as Jews (though they converted to Christianity), imagine in Palestine! @2lovefaith Concerning to the issue that Israel was never an Arab country, well the name of Israel wasn't actually never Arab, but the land where Israel is was for around 1500 years Arab, as Portugal was Roman for 600-700 years, and Latin for 2000+ years. But would you believe that most Portuguese people are actually from the city of Rome (a city that I admire a lot, for its beauty and for the sympathy that they have with us, for being Latins)? No! Most of our ethnic background is actually Celt!

@2lovefaith For instance, our former president (Jorge Sampaio, and his "jewishness" is a public information) would be classified as a Jew if he wished... He only admits the ancestry, not the ethnic or religious status. However, ethnically he's just partially Jew (and most Ashkenazi Jews in Israel are also just partially Jews, since the most likely actual Jews are the Sephardics, from here, and maybe the Mizrahis). I'll still make one more comment...

About my statement that I was an Arab, I don't know if you guessed that it was a joke, but I was already twice in Morocco and I had a Moroccan gf. But as a portuguese I probably have a lot of both Arab and Jewish ancestry (estimates are that 28% are actually what you'd call now Jews, since they descend from converts to Christianity during the Inquisition...

Yes you may come to live in Israel. Israel does not deny arabs from living in it, even though arab countries deny jews from living in them.

Israel was never an arab country. Israel does not "occupy" the land of Israel because it was given to us legaly by the british and the united nations. Israel however was occupied by muslims who occupied it in the 7th century from other nations who have taken it from the Jews. jews lived under muslim occupation for many years. look it up -wiki
