Although Robert Plant did his best to emulate JJoplins voice , Id take susan any day. Janis came from an oil refining town in Texas ,same town as famous artist robert rauschenberg. It was a tough place to escape and she did it so I give her mad props..but I never cared for her brand of music.Thank SUSEJ the 60s are over.The 60s are a great influence for sure but yeah.....its good its over.

@EccentricRichard I take it you've never listened to Janis Joplin have you? This is the way a blues voice is supposed to sound. She probably doesn't smoke either. It's a gift, either you've got it or you don't. You can't learn to sing like this.
