geishas r soooo pretty and unique! The way they dress, dance and move is sooo cool! I hope i see lots of 'em when i go on my trip, i'll be taken picture like crazy! Even tho they make it look glamourous, i'll bet the life of a geisha is a lot harder and difficult than ppl think. Still, great video!

I used to go to a maiko but now I see a geiko. Because . . . switching to a geiko can save me 15 percent or more on car insurance! :-D

@thecelia9999, well its a way of life and how is it that in this modern world u only care about jobs that make things, instead of ones that make us happy? Thanks for being horribly closed minded -_-. Geisha make you happy, boost ur ego. Americans just watch TV and go watch sports to make them happy, is that so useless too? What kind of world do u live in where happiness & beauty is useless? Thats a world I don't want to visit.

The maiko is Konomi. The geisha in dark purple kimono is Kogiki, and the one in purple and white stripes is Koemi, not Mameryo as said here. I 'd like so much to see more of Koemi.
