The Flat Stanley playing Live at Ayr Pavilion in 1990. The Stanleys were one of the finest Rhythm & Blues bands around at the time and their gigs were legendary.
A massive following developed in Ayrshire before the boys embarked on numerous Scottish Tours and an infamous Tour of Europe. The band split after seven years of near constant gigging. The line-up were - Colin Stewart, Lead Vocals and Guitar; Craig McAvoy, Rythym Guitar and Backing Vocals; Mark Cassidy, Drums and Percussion and Stuart Allison, Bass Guitar. The band were often joined by harmonica player Ian Sloan.
For everyone who saw them this may bring back some good memories.
