The song Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears, accompanied by a slideshow which was particularly fun to make.
I don't own any of the media seen in this video. I don't own the song. I don't own the band or the people shown here. The song belongs to the band, Tears for Fears. Happy, Youtube?

  • Nice slideshow. I was just wondering, though: where did Dick Cheney go? I thought he'd be in this... XD

  • @SusanRenee49 Haha, I guess I forgot him. Looking back, there are quite a few folk I wish I'd put in there. Jim Jones for sure. Fidel Castro. El Che, but only because he was awesome.

  • @Korban3 "El Che"? Are you referring to Che Guevara?

  • @mjn76 Yes, Guevara is correct.

Relax, it's just a for-fun video. Not meant for folk to seriously imply that anyone in here did (or didn't) wish to rule over anything at all. I just felt like the song needed a good slideshow to go with it. It really is just a silly video featuring either widely hated, or widely controversial characters.

I simply don't like Nixon or Bush.

As for miss Gaga, have you seen my Deviant Art page? korban3[dot]deviantart[dot]com/gallery/?offset=24#/d3jm4fg

  • Nice song. Plenty of room here in Comments, unlike your Cee Lo green posting.

I like the contrasting cast of characters and the multiple layers of metaphor.

The Jonas Brothers are WH pawns! They've been there a bunch of times. When the Obama girls were done on Inauguration Day, they had to use a map to find things in the WH so they wouldn't get lost. At the end of their introduction to the WH, they found the Jonas Brothers in their closet! Nice touch Mr. Prez, definately the coolest job.

  • @zippyman818 Thank you, at first I just threw in some dictators, but I think the Manson photo was a nice touch. Wish I'd thought of Jim Jones or to have fitted the Saruman guitar picture to the music in that part. Came out well though, thanx for the comment.

  • A sophomoric and pretentious video. To include Richard Nixon and George W. Bush in the same group as Stalin, Hitler, and Mussolini is insulting at best. It's also questionable that Charles Manson cared about ruling anything; he was/is a psychopath. Inclusion of fictional characters like Darth Vader was bizarre. Worst of all was inclusion of Justin Bieber and Jay Leno. If you're going to include pop culture figures with massive egos, Lady Gaga should have been your FIRST choice.

  • That is right. Thanx for the compliment.

  • wow rly drath vader lol jk nice music vid
