Looks awesome! What color basecoat did you use? Or is this just the kandy brandywine basecoat? I love how dark it looks.

First and foremost nice job! it looks to have laid down rather well, Have been thinking of this color for my 69 firebird. What base color did you use for it? Also how many coats of base, color, and clear did you lay on it? If it was orion silver you must have used a ton of color...lol

I love this color; I tried to spot repair a door on a "Deep Molten" (Red) Dodge Ram, and for some reason, I couldn't get the blend right. The truck still has the squared off pattern on the side, where I taped everything off...

what is the purpose of painting roof first?

Since the roof is separated by chrome and its about 10 inches from any other body panels its easier to worry about only the roof at a time.. Kinda like its easier to paint convertible than a hard top all at once.. less dirt to fall into the side panels when your walking along the sides doing the roof

Is it hard to get all the parts that you candy painted to match when you paint different parts at a time? It looks so awesome.. I had a go with candy on a door panel and it was quite streaky.. but your the man

Yes It is very hard to match the color. You just have to remember how many coats of each color you put on and your air pressure, fluid flow, and spraying distance and your overlap .. 75% overlap for your candy.. keep it up it will come to you.. let me know if you have any more questions....,RL
