Incredible speaker. He's nervous, you can tell but he speaks with definite poetry. Im in love with this, glad to see a fellow eagle scout doing good.

A change will come and we will one day reflect on this time as we now do segregation and wonder what we were thinking. Im proud to live in a country that recognizes same sex marriages and hope one day the world will follow suit.

@philbegas I was referring to the "laws," or "rules" as I stated, in a religious sense. And, in that case, the Ten Commandments could certainly be considered laws laid down by God. Obviously, men have created the laws we abide by in today's society.

This is an absolutely incredible and eloquent speech with so much power. Made me cry ;') Thank god for people like you that are willing to stand up and speak the truth of these situations. Light needs to be shed in the hope to dispel this horrible prejudice.

I clapped too! That was incredible! I honestly hadn't given much consideration to voting in favor of gay marriage, just because that was the way I was raised and that's what I believe, though I would never discriminate, because that's what I believe as well (I have 3 gay friends and love them very much), but this speech was so remarkable in it's power and honesty I may have to consider a little more carefully next time I vote. It was beautiful.
