  • Showing this video to my students. =)

  • @redrum351 wow, what class are you teaching?

  • the funny thing is, China is the true world's super power so in the history of time transforming from old culture to new culture is only a hiccup.

the west always fails to give china its true respect it deserves.

just look at technology that is claimed by us 'westerners' is actually old school in china.

china without communism will be around longer than the U.S and without the wars that america brings as an export.

  • @ashylarrybitches and the americans wave flags that says "made in china", lol

  • This should have a lot more views :\.. so educational :).. and amazing

  • @Xbs12 its a great story

  • @zhlsimon "the most powerful weapon of China is the culture not military" - exactly.. and that's GREAT.. i wasn't trashing China or its people just stating my opinion that building a huge wall was hardly a symbol of power for a nation.. maybe "economic" power but not power in it's purest sense for those crazy and bloody times when the fittest and not the richest survived..

  • @nomadineternity My friend, you dont understand China at all, i tell you this, the most powerful weapon of China is the culture not military. BTW, japs had never conquered China even a sec, the only reason they dare invade China is beacuese Chinese was too busy to fighting each other in civil war at that time. and you should be felling lucky Chinese isnt an aggreasive nation. otherwise, you may speak Chinese as the second language now. sry about my bad English and have a nice day.

  • @ashylarrybitches yes, 5,000 years ago, only a handful of countries/empires/places actually existed and that was China, India, Egypt, and the Mayan and Incan empires, almost everyone else were living in caves. These civilizations greatly influenced the neighboring countries around them

  • Pieces of the wall were existing before Qin dynasty. The Qin dynasty unified the existing walls to create The Great Wall of China. Shi Huangdi put the project into affect when he unified the 36 provinces, starting the Qin dynasty (pronounced Chin Dynasty).

    -Scotts Foresman as reference =)

    hope that helps.

  • @redrum351 Im watching this for a reserch paper I need to write. Can you confirm this is all correct pleas? Otherwise ill use my other sources

  • I just luv this video when my teacher show it in scool

it was so much fun to history of this wall.........

  • this is what you call a history, so admirable.the mangolians are my favorite, they go hard

  • This documentary is very accurate in terms of it's content and description, but it has a single very large flaw in the history. It claims that the Great wall was constructed only 200 years before the Qin Dynasty (which is wrong), only that section was fortified or enhanced 200 years before the Qin Dynasty. The entire basis and structure of the great wall began it's production 200 years ago in the Ching Dynasty (200 BC). or i just might of miss heard...

  • This documentary has flaws, the wall's production first began 2000 years ago, in the Ching Dynasty.
