as you can tell this is a nice northwest swell with about a 19 second period, wind around 5 knots from the north/northeast. slight chop with a slight chance of thunder showers in the afternoon

i hear you, i surf there everyday, im not a kook, im better than 80 percent of the guys out there yet i get yelled at atleast once everyday
like today some guy cussed me out because i was kicking too hard to get in the wave, fucking ass holes

Well it hardly ever goes off and when the surf is good enough for the Rock to be going off there are 50 other spots within 30 minutes north or south going off bigger (maybe not as "tight") even hospitals just north of the shack is very tight when the Rock is happening and it won't be crowded at all.. Just a thought.

I hear you...but Big Rock is not exactly a secret spot (I have seen it in surfer magazine's guides). Moreover, 108 (as today) views don't seem that dangerous to me :-)
