The US flag protected the LEGALITY of slavery long before the Confederate Battle Flag was ever dreamed about. The US flag Old Glory flew over every Yankee slave trading ship both before 1808 when it was legal from Massachusetts and Rhode Island ports and afterwards too in the illegal slave trade when most slavers sailed from Manhattan. Your propaganda vilifying the South and its symbols WILL NOT WORK because we southerners will make sure the TRUTH gets out about YANKEE COMPLICITY IN SLAVERY!
