Oh, another thing: I wouldn't trade my experiences in the 70s and early 80s for anything. I feel sorry for these younger people who didn't grow up then. I really do.

The spring of 1980. Mount St. Helens erupted and left a thin film of ash on my 1969 Chrylser Fury. I was late for a track meet. Ran out of clean jerseys to wear. Stocking shelves at Toys R Us for $3 an hour. Chasing down that girl I grew up with who wouldn't give me the time of day. The scent of Cigarettes and Musk Oil perfume in my car- applying for admission to UC-Berkeley. A & W cheeseburgers.
...ah it's such a drag when you're living in the past...
