It has been more than three years since a sinkhole developed in the East Rochester parking lot of the Evergreen restaurant that eventually engulfed the whole lot and threatened to spread to nearby Route 65.

this article is too funny - I reported a sink hole in the road to my local gov(Lansing Mi)....they came out and put a cone and a small road block - then they came out a few weeks later and put ashphalt over the hole w/ cones still in place - now mind you that the hole was big enought to put your leg in but when you peer in the hole it is big enough for a car. I just went by it today and the ashphalt has fallen in - lol nice fix- when my kid gets up from his nap I think I will go make a video...

I miss the Evergreen. The County and State need to do what is right and FIX this ,PROPERLY instead of waiting until there is a cave in under 65 and many are hurt or killed.
