The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians Settlement Act of 2007 was falsely titled. In fact, the Soboba get less than 5% of the water this act brought to the area. The vast majority of water goes to new residents in Hemet. This act was lobbied to Mack by wealthy landowners in Hemet and San Jacinto to raise property value and set the way for the tract housing that is growing like a cancer near Soboba.
