-
@Antbubb I don't.

Trummer was slightly optimistic there to say the least!
-
Don't watch GP3 and GP2 then. Sorted.

Yes!
But even entry level racing is expensive so you have be good enough to convince sponsors to invest in your career!
If you're good enough to move up to the powerfull classes, a F1-team might notice you!
There are exceptions: Sauber saw Raikkonens talent early and “took” him directly from 190 BHP Formula-Renault to their 800 BHP F1 car! Some F1 teams have “young drivers programmes” for talents spotted very young in ex. carting! Hamilton and McLaren is an example!

@Michaelingolfhansen wait is it possible for someone to go up the Formula ladder like this?!
Go-Karting, GP3, GP2 Asia, then F1????
-
I dont know how many series is to many?!
With a high number of racing series - even local ones - as many talents as possible can get their chance to show what they can do in a fast car that is hard to drive.
But I think the number will regulate it self, in terms of more or less interest from spectetors, teams, etc.
-
@Michaelingolfhansen gp3 is unnecessary. as you say, there is already formula renault, wsbr etc.
-
gp2 is Shit, gp3 is better
@TheAirsoftmadman
Where should F1 drivers get their basic single seater experience if race series like this did not exist?!
You cant go from go-carts to F1, and the principals in the big teams would have a hard time finding the right talents if it were not for these one-make classes!
GP3, GP2, Formula-3, Formula Renault etc. are very important!...not only for F1 but for all types of higher racing!
