to avoid modifying the crossmember, i think a sump and oil pickup from a l20 bluebird will fit, can't remember exactly but I have put a L20 in mine. I have had it about ten years now.

where did u get that engine from? is that just from a later datsun?

yeh it's a L18 from a Datsun 180B, he had to change the x-member & Lca's to 180B aswell and struts to Stanza.
