Saw this concert Radio City, front row center, 1st balcony. Everyone in the building thought he was singing to them personally. Never received the credit he deserved for his dynamic voice...

Saw this concert at Radio City, what a great show, just him and his Guitar. He was flawless that night. Very few people could do a show with out a full band.. God rest his soul.

It's great to see a performer who can make it happen with just a guitar and vocals. I can think of several performers today I would love to put in this situation. Oh, and they would have to perform their own material as well. Too much overproduced undertalented BS today (Beiber, Spears, West....)

@NoRefillsLeft I agree absolutely with you. JD, his vioce, his guitar and his songs. Very good second: 7:02.

I agree with everybody who says he was at his absolute best in this concert. All he needed was his guitar, his voice and his songs, and we were held blissfully captive. The one note at 7:02 where he sings "cry" is the essence to me of the beauty of his voice. I have loved him for 39 years and will continue to love him until the end of my days. Thanks so much Masassa for posting this entire concert. :)

Hi, It was so good to see this. My parents taped it when it was first show and the whole family became John fans. Sadly, VHS doesn't last forever. Do you know where copies can be bought of the whole programme? Would appreciate your help with this one. :o)

Yes. Great to see this concert again. I'm glad to say that I was there - one of many JD concerts I went to when he visited England. I think his voice was at its very best about this time and its a pity this concert isn't on the recently released DVD collection. JD was the best.
