  • Typical class 2 opera singer. All they do is face out and sing or do general opera gestures. What a bore. Learn how to use your bodies onstage. Learn how to act.

  • I recently performed this at school, and I had the role or Carmen. We changed a fair about but kept the storyline exactly the same. I performed the Habanera with my own words and to the same tune which got me accepted with OperaNorth. Sally Egan was my vocal coach, and I'm only 14. People can't say our generation is bad when young people everywhere are being accepted for opera north and playing main roles, agreed?

  • What was up with that last note? It's not in the score and it's not even in tenor tradition to hit a high note there...it kills the drama, at least for me. It sounds better if the orchestra finishes the line as Don Jose is in shambles over Carmen. This reminds me of somthing that Bonisolli would have done :D
