In my opinion a very sad song will be Whiskey lullaby, if you don's know it it is the story of a viy that comited suicide because his girlfriend left him. They found him with a note that said: I'll love her till I die''. Then the song tell us how the girl blame herself and at the end she also suicide, the found her with a picture of him. It is so sad! I strongly recommend listening to this song and undestanding the lyrics. I'm Spanish so excuse my mistakes writing in English :p

No Eric Clapton- Tears in Heaven. A song he wrote about the loss of his 4 year old son. Not only is the story of the song sad but the music itself is so sad, the music alone could make you cry. Go search it, I personally think the song beats everything on this list.

He Stopped Loving Her Today is one of the saddest songs ever. It is one of those timeless country songs.

"suicidal people disgust me" tbh I really can't stand that,
Someone I love so much in this world nearly died because of suicide. It's not something you can help if you feel like nothing will ever get better, You'll never know what it feels like to see someone that way, until you expeirence it,, don't judge people because they're going through unbearable pain in life. Hope you won't ever see pain in someone you love like I did.
