Playing John Denver's "Country Roads" with my amigos.
Couple notes: We only had one capo so we were playing a step lower than the original. Guy to your left is holding lyrics. Decided to cut bridge out because it took way too many takes just to get there.
Anyways leave us a comment!
Lyrics:
Almost heaven, West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River.
Life is old there, older than the trees,
Younger than the mountains, growin' like a breeze.
Country Roads, take me home,
To the place I belong:
West Virginia, mountain momma,
Take me home, country roads.
All my mem'ries, gather 'round her,
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water.
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky,
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye.
Chorus
... the voices are too deep... and I prefer the Newton-John's version ! :p
