  • If you look carefully you'll see me hit the A string on the A minor chord!

  • Great song! Great performance! Thank you for all you have offered up on YouTube - it's been very enjoyable!

  • So lovely! Just wonderful really!

  • Great picking, great voice! I've never heard this song before. It's lovely.

  • yes indeed - i played it too - many times - still try to! Maggie aus/uk

  • Aww, great song. Thanks!

  • This is really, really, really good. Perhaps I'll upload it when I get the time. Question, though - what key are you playing it in? Your thumb seems to only be bass-ing between strings 4 and 6, like you do with a G, but the song necessitates moving to some minor chords. It sounds great, I'm just wondering how you got it to sound so great only bassing those two notes.

  • Very very nice song! Very nice fingering too! That is some serious talent.

  • Nice clip. Love this song..

  • this has been one of my favorite tom paxton songs for many years. i used to perform it weekly when i played out in the sixties. nice guitar style there. chuck picklesimer.
