This Hack is a Work-in-progress

Played by Bobmario511. YEAH RIGHT LOLOL. Okay, yeah, it was all him.

This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun of all of the current stages in the Super Mario World Hack "Super Skill World." It was recorded on Snes9X v1.51 using savestates, rerecording and frame by frame shooting. This run isn't meant to show skill but is aimed for entertainment and pushing this hack to its limits.

This Hack was created by the better known user bobmario511 and myself. The hack is named this due to the extreme difficulty of the stages. So far, only the first stage has been proven humanly possible (in other words, no save states or slowdown).

Bob has uploaded this hack to Rapidshare so you can play it if you wish.

Also, besides having the stages altered, there are two patches inserted onto the game to make it more difficult and easier to see. First off, there is a patch that resets Mario's stats, for instance, he is reset to small Mario with no coins or yoshi. The other patch makes the camera follow Mario better.

For now there are no custom block stages mainly because I have yet to understand how block tool works and such and since Silent Slayers hasn't felt like doing it lol.

Anyway, if you have ideas on interesting stages, post away XD.

Hope you enjoy this run, I sure do!

Yay for Bob. He does stuff. LOL. D:DAD:AW{RKAOW

Yes, it's not a speedrun, It's a tool-assisted speedrun. And not everyone could do this, it requires skills to do it.

  • @MrGudtavosky

This is not true. It requires skill too. You don't know much about TASing to say that. Here's food for thought. If we both had 24 hours to both TAS any game, do you think we'd have the exact same time? Hahaha. Knowledge, creativity, patience, route-planning, logic. There's so much to it. It isn't the same kind of skill as Non-TAS, believe me I know. Don't be ignorant in saying stuff like that though.

  • @Soldier9k sprite limit you can see the key at 4:46

  • how is the wall jump done? O_O

  • Good times!

  • @SilentSlayers I'm still not too impressed when seeing Tool assisted stuff, might take skill to do these but I think anyone can learn that, I simply think it's less impressive than an awesome normal run. No offense.

  • 4:57 fake he didn't have a key

  • it is impossible

  • As Irving would say, "I am at a loss for words, dude."

    Literally.

  • @zsjostrom35 something like that. The only problem is that in chess, every game is a diferent game and you must think fast about every movement and the oponent's strategy. TAS doesnt require that.

  • @MrGudtavosky

By that logic, a game like chess requires no skill, since given sufficient time you could analyze every conceivable variation from a given position and never pick a move path that allowed you to lose.

  • I used to plan elaborate levels like this all the time when I was like 8...
