A fun fall morning paramotoring with friends at Rio Rancho, NM. A strong temperature inversion with high winds aloft meant cold down below and one helluva wind shear to go through to get to the warmer winds up top. Once there, you were basically parked until you dropped back down and the winds were going the other way! I shamelessly "borrowed" Hollywood's ground views to supplement my aerial ones... name your price HWd! (There are no crashes in this video...sorry! I just like the song!)

  • You were close to Corrales when you flew. Where abouts did you launch? I've been to Corrales many times although I live in

    Phoenix.

  • We launched at a construction site (no longer flyable) in Rio Rancho. I'd love to fly free-flight in the Phoenix area... anything good there?

  • looks like a Black Hawk Rhino Paramotor your flying and the one you land next to as well, is this correct?

    Nice video!

  • you are absolutely correct... our pg instructor is a "dealer" of the bh, so guess what most of us (i think with the exception of ONE out of several) bought? i do luv it tho'... flying at a launch altitude of 7000' makes the 48" prop a must for the necessary thrust.

  • nice shot of the rio grande

  • thx! I'll bet it'll be much more "Grande" after the meltoff from this winter's spectacular snow totals in the mountains!

  • I'm sure there is but mostly I know about ppg sites.

  • Yes, it is an amazing thing - to be able to fly under your own power, more or less...

  • hahaha... you know... when you fly withOUT the motor, it really IS like being in a dream! i used to have flying dreams all the time until i started doing this... i guess i get my fill from the real thing now! :) it is absolutely surreal.
