Dea II and Katherine Bateson-Chandler scored 74.579 and won first place in the Intermediare I class at the 2009 Collecting Gaits Farm and USEF National Grand Prix and Intermediare Championship held in Gladstone, New Jersey. In the rain.
Katherine Bateson-Chandler and Dea II are from Wellington, FL. Dea II is a nine year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Jane Forbes Clark. Ms. Bateson-Chandler, 34 years old was born in England and moved to the US in 1986. She worked for Robert Dover as a groom and assistant trainer for over 16 years. This year she is competing two horses in the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Festival of Champions in the Intermediaire I National Championship: Dea II and Rutherford, both owned by Jane Forbes Clark.

  • Gosh I like the way this lady seats and uses her core , she should be a model for all the people I see struggling on Youtube . What an elegant , efficient rider. she is not one of the brutes we see at local dressage shows calling themselves Grand Prix Riders .....

  • I doubt she is for sale, Katherine has not had her long and has been very successful with her. She is owned by Jane Clark.
