@amigofication Just use some stickier thermal paste to it. do this every 3 months or so. just take those little heatsinks off, clean the old Thermal-paste residue, then apply a fresh coast. and no, don't use normal glue lol.

your idles at 150F lol wow. yeah mine used to also. that was a few years ago. Now it just idles at 95-98F. and only reaches maximum temperature of around 130F if put on maximum load for a few hours. Also the aftermarket cooler i bought doesn't even use a fan.The card is 4 years old.

My riches 90'C in crysis 2 & it's a zalman edition, but the bad think is the case, the hot air is throwed in a closed left pannel, because of the designed of the case.

@corght Have you had any problems with it since you did this?
I can imagen that PCI-E connection bearing alot of the weight.

@SnoweyMan111 I'm still using this same graphic card right now and I never had any problem with it. The extra weight is held by the screw that secures the card outside the back of the case, the PCI-E is not damaged. This video was posted in May 2010 and now it's November 2011, so it's been more than a year. I bought this card used and it's a 2007 model! This graphic card is a tank, it just won't die. I unplugged the AMD fan on the cooler a few months ago to reduce the noise and it's fine.
