im not sure about the management, but bee and mike work very hard and ry and keep everything under control. When i was there for 2 years, it seemed like they were the only teachers really going the extra mile for students and they didnt have to. at least at barnet college, they pushed me to work and be better.

Sorry but i have to disagree with you. Mike can only be bothered to help people who actually want to achieve something at the end of the 2 years . Bee on the other hand is full of shit. She always played favouritist with the female classmates, particularly the ones who just came in to college to socialize, disrupt students who were trying to complete work and then of course do no work themselves. Finally resulting in them somehow receiving a DDM grade courtesy of Bee's Favouritism.

@TheMeikolee Good for Bee and Mike, they deserve better than working for this institution is all I can say. Most people can't wait to clock off & just want to survive for another day. I can only speak as a staff member and on behalf of my colleagues. There was barely anyone who wouldn't jump ship if they had the chance as we are treated so badly. The majority absolutely hate the place. Bullying is a big problem for staff, it's inexcusable but how it's always been. It really is a shady operation.

@sezanimate There were/are, good people working there, but they're fighting a losing battle as dishonest and incompetent senior managers are only interested in keeping their snouts in the tax payers trough. The SMT treat students and staff with contempt. Staff numbers are cut to the bone so it's impossible to offer a decent service even if they want to. It's a miserable place for the people who do the real hands on work, & the oppressive bullying culture further demotivates everyone.

I was on the same course (BTEC National in Media) a couple years back. It was a great experience and I could not agree more about Bee and Mike; they were (and still are) wonderfully supportive tutors who, as you said, tried to push us the extra mile in terms of what we could create. I am now at university, and so are a number of my peers, and we wouldn't have got to that stage without their sheer help and support. Thanks again!

@computermaster Not power, just bullies, crooks & idiots who'd never keep a job in the real world, & only good for screwing the taxpayers money cos no questions get asked. All sorts of cover ups and fiddles go on - I used to wonder if the auditors & inspectors were on backhanders cos they never seemed to discover what the rest of the staff already knew! Sure a lot of students were thick as shit, but that's how UK life is now. I felt sorry for the ones who did want to do something with their life

@computermaster The biggest wankers are the Senior Management Team! I could tell you stories about the dodgy carrying on there. Equal opportunities (a trendy mantra), don't make me laugh - every one of them female, white, blonde, middle aged - and a nastier bunch of unscrupulous characters you'll never meet.

Yes- I pity them, also they seemed to be hooked alot on drugs, sex and masturbation- which makes it even worse!
