Continuing through the Lucha theme today, as we take a look at current CMLL technico, La Sombra. Sombra was born into a wrestling family, his grandfather wrestling as El Moro, and his father as Brillante. He debuted officially at the age of fourteen, wrestling as Brillante, Jr. He would keep the name for a few years, until signing with CMLL. Upon signing, he was given the La Sombra character, and hasn't looked back. He opted to use a black and white version of his father's mask. His first tast of success came when he was teamed with Mistico, and the two won the 2007 Gran Alternativa tournament. Later that year, Sombra would defeat Hajime Ohara for the NWA World Welterweight Title, his first belt. He would ride that momentum into 2008, when he, Volador, Jr, and Sagrado defeated Damien 666, Halloween, and Mr. Aguila for the Mexican National Trios Titles. Their defense of the titles against El Hijo del Fantasma, Valiente, and La Mascara in 2008 was a high end Match of the Year candidate, further strengthening the rise of Sombra, as well as the others in the match. 2009 would start out great for Sombra, as he and Volador, Jr. defeated Averno and Mephisto for the CMLL World Tag Team Titles, making Sombra a triple champion. However, the full reign wouldn't last long, as he lost the Mexican National Trios titles in February, and the NWA World Welterweight Title a few months later. However, he kept a strong hold on the World Tag Team Titles, and held them throughout the remainder of the year. 2010 started a great year for Sombra, though it began with him losing in the first round of the Torneo National de Parajes Incredibles(I think I got that right). He would rebound by defending his mask in March, also claiming the mask of the legendary Felino in the process. He would also claim the CMLL World Trios Titles, alongside Mascara Dorada and La Mascara. In July, he would lose the CMLL World Tag Team Titles. He would also travel to Japan for the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. He defeated Gedo, and scored big upsets over Tiger Mask IV and Jushin "Thunder" Liger. 2011 would begin with a big victory, as Sombra pinned Liger in a tag team match. Later on, he looked to defeat Liger in singles competition, but came up short. The next night, he aided in the defense of the Trios titles. March would also see Sombra reclaim the NWA World Welterweight Title, defeating Mephisto. He also challenged Liger once again, but was defeated. Sombra's style is dominated by his spectacular aerial attacks. His Moonsault Suicida is incredibly spectacular, and he also has a nice move, in which he feints a Quebrada, only to land the Standing Moonsault, ala Kota Ibushi. The Brillante Driver has finished off some of Sombra's toughest opponents, and when that doesn't do it, he's got a Rope Flip Moonsault, and a couple of versions of the Tornillo to do the trick.
two questions im just wondering, in the brillante driver, who is the wrestler who is getting the move done to them by La Sombra, and who is the one helping him get the pinfall?

Diamante is the wrestler doing the Springboard 450 Splash, and aiding Sombra's pin. Sombra's victim is El Hijo del Signo.

So the tornillo... the guy just stands there for five minutes until he attacks them?

Part of it is Sombra's habit of standing on the top rope for quite some time before executing the move.
