Even though the Pens were a bad team during this time they were still fun to watch. Because even though they went out everynight and pretty much got their ass kicked they fought with alot of heart everynight and they did have some outstanding individual players on that team. Morzov, Tarnestrom, Malone, Kraft, just to name a few. I think Brooks Orpik and Marc-Andre Fleury are the only two people left from that team. I wonder what happened to most of these guys and where they are now?

Man that all feels like such a long time ago. I was really disappointed Malone didn't have the chance to raise a Cup with the Pens last season. Rough couple years there, but it was still the Pens, and thats all that mattered.

When Orpik hoisted the Cup, I couldn't help but wonder if all those years as a Penguin flashed through his mind, especially that year.

ha. i know. i remember getting made fun of for loving the pens. "they suck. get over it." "no, they're just rebuilding. you'll see in a few years." Now no one seems to remember saying that, haha
