  • @BaronRogoff1 I think you're right. The bird seemed worth photographing. But perhaps I was just too eager for a certain sign of Spring after a long snowy winter in North Dakota? ;-)

  • @BaronRogoff1 The song does have deep melancholic undertones, I think. The same sort of feelings evoked by Paul McCartney's lyric, 'Blackbird singing in the dead of night'.
