You're retarded. The ZR1 has nothing to do with GM going bankrupt. It's their poor marketing and car design of the AFFORDABLE cars that caused it. In addition, the leafspring suspension OBVIOUSLY ended up being properly used since it beat almost every European supercar on the Nurburgring. Now think what you are saying right now. Who the fuck would buy a GM supercar for 250k if more expensive parts used? No one. That's the gift of the ZR1. It's outperforms Ferraris for 1/3 of the price.

look you little turd, GM are bankrupt and the Zr1 with its leafspring suspension and wooden floor symbolise the stubborness of GM that has led them to fall behind their euro and jap rivals, ultimately resulting in their downfall. only gullable 'buy american' fools prolonged this process and it is fantastically ironic that they are now paying out of their tax money for GM to fuck up all over again.
