Chapter 11- Rivalry?

Sarahs POV

There stood before me Mandy. Mandy Van Duyne. That pretty blonde girl every guy in the neighbourhood drooled over. And also good friends of the Jonas boys. Aunt Denise and her Mom, Kathy were good friends from before and Mandy came to learn sign language from Aunt Denise just a couple of years ago. It wasnt like Mandy was bad or anything, in fact she was fun to be around and all. I often used to go round her house and play with her and stuff. She was quite funny at times and a great girl at heart. Thats why I guess Joe took so much interest in her. Yes they had been friends for quite a long time but I mean, hello do I exist or not? Joe kinda completely forgot about me when he was around Mandy. That the Lord that Kevin, Nick or Lenny didnt though. Like this one day we were all at the park just milling around because it was a nice bright summers day and Joe just went off with Mandy to go get some ice-cream. Without asking me if Id wanted to join. I mean I guess I dont mind him going somewhere with Mandy, it is his business but come on. When it comes to ice-cream he KNOWS that its always my business, regardless of who or what is there.

"Hi! " waved Mandy as she walked up to me and hugged me.
"Hey "I said back smiling. Honestly she was real nice, it was just Joe that was the problem.
"Did you watch 8 simple rules last night?"
"No I missed it what happened?"
"Well- "Mandy got cut off by, you guessed it, Joseph.
"Manddaaayy!" he said whilst dumping his bag on the ground and running up to her like a little toddler. I mean come on?
"Joooe! " she sang back in a little girls voice metting him half way in the living. They hugged. Way too long for my liking. Okay it was only about 2 seconds but I mean 2 WHOLE SECONDS! Thats just waay too muchme and Joe only hug for about4 second in average? Yeah I thought so. So I guess I hugged Joe double the amount he hugged Mandy. That put my mind to rest a little teeny bit.
They pulled away and started talking about stuff I guess. I wasnt really paying attention that much. I was just looking at my surroundings, Aunt Denise and Kathy talking, Lenny playing with his Batman figurine in the corner with Nick. I was just standing there awkwardly so I decided Id just go crash.
"Urm.....guys? I think Im just gunna go home, mom must be wondering about me.. " I mumbled on.
"Okay then honey, see you soon! "replied Aunt Denise. I gave them a goodbye hug and waited for a few seconds for Joe to come out of his engrossed conversation with Mandy but no such luck. Oh well Ill live, I guess.
