Marking 50 Years Since The Eichmann Trial
A Living Record

"I knew we needed more than a conviction; we needed a living record of a gigantic human and national disaster."
Gideon Hausner

The Eichmann trial was a historic milestone for many reasons- not the least of which was that in a legal milieu survivor testimony was being considered as historically significant as a document. The trial gave the survivors a voice in a public and unprecedented forum,

A Living Record brings the voices of 3 participants in the trial-Gabriel Bach, a member of the prosecution team, Mickey Gilad (Michael Goldman) an investigative officer in Bureau 06, and Israel Gutman, a witness at the trial. Documentary footage from the trial provides the historical background to their unique and moving experiences and perspectives.
