just wondering if anybody else on here has or had a teacher that counted off for spelling on this. it's insane enough just trying to remember what everything is.

@monkeygod69 yeah mine did within reason. I cant remember ever getting points off for spelling but it had to be really close... good luck!

are some of the the scientific names given to things able to be interpreted by people all over the world. LIke when we classify animal such as a type of reptile(tortoise) we say testudo. or felis domesticus for domestic cats(house cats) based on what i know so far i can say felis domesticus in a forigieon country and people will know what im talking about. What i mean is it has the same pronounciation in all places. People find me weird because i study alot of animal boilogy like this

The terminology used in this animal physiology course as well as most physiology courses are Latin and therefore universally used. You should have no problem being understood.
