What a great piece of history to select for Lincoln's birthday celebration. Get to the museum soon because after February 28th the hat will go back into the vault for a much needed rest

My very favorite artifact. Not sure what does it - knowing his papers were in that hat or being so close to something so much a part of his everyday life or the fingerprints. Just think - he lifted that hat on and off so much his impression is ever there. That's powerful!
