  • I had a stupid question for ya and I'm not sure if you've already covered this. How is the pay wage to the cost of living? Fair, good, doable, not good at all? For example if I were a Sterile Processing Technician living in Japan, would I be comfortably living?

  • @Crackmandan

You would starve because they would not give you a job or visa to do that.

Check out the "how to" playlist - jobs and visas video.

  • hey, i was wondering what it would be like for a vegetarean in japan :o are people understanding about that? or is it unheard of?

and i was also curious what the word for "vegetarean" was in japanese :D thanks

  • @archykins

    On the food playlist.

  • Hi mate, was your girlfriend sitting opposite?

Why not to make a video about dating girls in Japan?

Many people are curious about that.

  • @cismok

    Already did.

    生食で食べられるように厳密な管理がされてるから大丈夫なんだよね。

    食中毒云々の注意書きもいらないんだよ。

  • I know this video is two years old but I have a question. Why is it when you order scrambled eggs it's always runny/ still wet?

  • It looks more of a gourmet restaurant than what I'd envision when I think of Denny's. The menu appears quite a lot more local too - even the western food looks more local. When I think of Denny's, I'd typically think of american breakfast, pancakes, burgers and maybe some finger food like cheese sticks, samplers and what not, I think it is an okay restaurant by itself, but if someone who's been to Denny's overseas went there expecting the same thing, they'd be disappointed.

  • I knew they leaned heavily to Japanese foods, but I wouldn't have guessed the extent of it. There seems to be nothing at all from the American menu (I had expected there would at least be a nod to the burgers/breakfast diner food that they serve in the states). It's obvious though that a lot of thought has gone into the presentation of every aspect of the experience. An interesting detail: they use the "classic" Denny's logo which has been out of use for some time now in the United States.

  • I love that Japanese food is often served with an egg, that sounds delicious and I'm a big fan of eggs.

  • The fan shaped vegetable with the holes in it, you said that's Daikon Radish. Isn't it actually Lotus Root? The yellow being the Takuan/Pickled Daikon yes? My apologies if I'm mistaken but I loooooove Nimono and the Lotus I use in it is identical to that when cut.

  • 1:56 I don't know why the title of that menu cracked me up... My Pasta!!!!!! :-P

  • I wonder if it tastes as horrible as Denny's in America.

  • I enjoyed the Denny's near my ryokan in Tokyo. Was very delicious that I wanted all the food in that restaurant.. (lol)

  • Looks very different from a US Dennys. No breakfast food in sight! That's at least half of the menu here. I don't think you'll find rice on the Dennys menu here either. Also, they don't have alcohol.

  • omg im so hungry!!, i keep watching these videos and i get so hungry!!!
